In Raleigh, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across North Carolina, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Raleigh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Dr Robbins is an exceptional provider. He takes the time to understand your needs and educate you on your condition and treatment options. He’s a savant in the orofacial speciality. Passionate about his practice and reflects in his work - highlighted by the fact he created his own guide fully explaining various orofacial conditions, treatment options and recommended home remedies to aid you on your recovery journey. Truly cares for you and works to find a solution. Recommend anyone with orofacial issues to give Dr Robbins a visit!

I saw Dr. Robbins in Columbia, but came to leave this review because he helped change the trajectory of my life by helping me identify I was hypermobile. I saw him for TMJ pain and he was the first medical provider to look at my joint laxity and determine my pain is caused by hypermobility, which led to me being diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. His office was very accommodating in getting my Botox covered by insurance at the time.

Dr.Robbins was super knowledgeable, friendly, and told me what treatment would be best for my current TMJ condition. He was willing to try a non invasive method before starting to refer me to an oral surgeon for a more aggressive approach. He was super patient and didn’t rush me out the door. Explained everything in detail. I’ve been stressed about my disc being displaced since it happened. Being a mom to a new baby and homeschooling my other kiddo. It’s added to the stress load already. I know many regular dentists don’t truly know much about TMJ and just try whatever may work. Knowing that and how in detail Dr.Robbins was about my current condition, I wish I saw Dr.Robbins way sooner or first before anyone else. Don’t have any hesitations seeing him! It’s well worth it. And don’t wait too long Iike I did. The sooner the better for best outcomes.
